Single Wound or Localized SFX
Application Details
- Technique: Direct skin sculpting using liquid latex and tissue layering to create 3D texture like torn skin or gashes. This uses the build up method rather than pre molded silicone.
- Color & Gore: Detailing with artist grade pigments to simulate bruising, veins, and depth, finished with coagulated artificial blood.
- Placement: Limited to one specific body part such as a forearm, back of hand, or neck.
Session Specs
- Duration: 20 to 30 minutes per person.
- Setting: Seated application in a workshop environment at the Bandra Art Classroom.
- Durability: Lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours. The materials are water soluble and removable with warm water and soap.
Full Face Character Transformation
Scope of Work
- Base & Paint: Full face theatrical base application (e.g., zombie green, pale ghost) with heavy contouring to alter facial features.
- 3D Elements: Integration of latex effects directly on the face, such as rotting cheeks, warts, or exposed jaw effects.
- Neck Blending: Makeup is blended down the neck to ensure a seamless transition into the costume neckline.
Important Details
- Duration: 45 to 60 minutes.
- Exclusions: Does not include hair styling, costume rental, or heavy pre purchased prosthetics like bald caps.
- Suitability: Ideal for specific character looks like Witches, Vampires, or Zombies.

My studio in Bandra West goes full filmy during Halloween. I do prosthetic work that’s way beyond basic face paint - think realistic wound makeup, bloody gashes, and effects that make your costume stand out. If you want to become Maleficent or just look like you survived a zombie apocalypse, I’m all in.
Kids, Adults, Everyone
SFX makeup isn’t just for my ‘little artistes’. Grown-ups get their share of spooky party makeup too. Sometimes it’s wild, sometimes it’s subtle - even a tiny prosthetic can change your whole vibe. The process is messy, creative, and honestly, pretty relaxing.

My Story
Hi, I’m Alafiya. Kinderart in Bandra is my little bubble where anyone can just let go and create. Art’s not just for 'artists' - it’s for everyone. I love seeing kids and grown-ups get messy, laugh, and leave with something they made themselves. Started BAAKIN art supplies too, so kids have safe stuff to play with. Making imagination real, that’s what I’m all about.
