Why Festivals and Art Matter to Us
Art is my way to unwind, and festivals are my spark. Every celebration brings a fresh chance to create, and I love seeing kids dive into the colours and stories behind each festival. We keep things real - sometimes the paint gets everywhere, sometimes the clay cracks, but that's part of the fun.
Eco-Friendly Ganpati Idol Workshop
Ganesh Chaturthi is special for us. Kids get to sculpt their own Ganpati from eco-friendly clay, right from scratch. I walk them through each step, and all materials are sorted - clay, decorations, even the 'pat' (base). The best bit? They take home their own idol. Ganpati Bappa Morya!
Festival Art All Year
We don’t stick to just one festival. Our calendar is packed:
- Diwali diya painting for kids - brightening up homes with handmade holders and plates.
- Christmas art classes for children - snowy scenes, trees, and reindeers.
- Holi toddler art activities - messy, colourful fun for all ages.
- Mother's & Father's Day - gifts like painted tote bags and t-shirts.
- Rakshabandhan, Gudi Padwa, Independence Day, Friendship Day - each gets its own themed craft session.
What Kids Get
It’s more than craft. Kids find calm, pride, and a bit of magic in making something themselves. Watching them finish their art and beam with happiness is what keeps me going.

My Story
Hi, I’m Alafiya. Kinderart in Bandra is my little bubble where anyone can just let go and create. Art’s not just for 'artists' - it’s for everyone. I love seeing kids and grown-ups get messy, laugh, and leave with something they made themselves. Started BAAKIN art supplies too, so kids have safe stuff to play with. Making imagination real, that’s what I’m all about.
