Every great design starts with a sketch. Before we even touch the paints, I help everyone brainstorm and draw their ideas on paper, planning out the design to make sure it looks great on the final product.
About Streetwear Painting Workshops
You don't need to be a pro to join. We start by sketching your ideas on paper, then move to leather preparation and painting using professional-grade Angelus paints. My job is to help you figure out the color theory and detailing so you actually walk out wearing something that doesn't look like a DIY disaster.
How Our Creative Jams Work
Think of these workshops less like a classroom and more like a creative hangout. Whether you are a student, a corporate team looking for an offbeat bonding activity, or just someone who wants to refresh their old footwear, this is for you.
We keep it simple:
- Brainstorming: We sit down with pencils and paper first. If you have an idea, maybe an anime character, a specific pattern, or just cool doodles, we map it out.
- Prep: Before any paint touches the shoe, we prep the surface. This is the secret to making sure your design doesn't crack or peel the first time you walk in the rain.
- The Painting: You get full access to professional Angelus paints, brushes, and heat guns. I walk you through the color blending and finishing touches so your piece looks clean and professional.
What You Should Bring
Since these are bring your own (BYO) sessions, grab a pair of clean white canvas or leather sneakers. Converse or Nike AF1s work perfectly. If you aren't feeling the shoes, bring a denim jacket or a tote bag instead. We provide the aprons, brushes, and all the paint you could possibly need.
Why Choose a Workshop Over Buying Custom?
When you buy custom sneakers, you pay for someone else’s taste. When you paint them yourself, you get to put your own story on the canvas. Plus, you learn the actual craft of sneaker customization, how to mix colors, how to seal leather, and how to use heat guns properly. It’s a skill you can take home and use on other stuff later. We host these sessions at my Worli studio in Mumbai, but if you have a group, I can travel to your location too.
