About Dance Choreography for Events & Competitions
Dance That Tells a Story
I see dance as more than just movement - it's how we express stories, emotions, and even devotion. My approach is rooted in the Guru-Shishya Parampara (teacher-student tradition), so every routine we create feels personal and connected.
What I Offer
- Choreography for solo, duet, and group performances - any age, any skill.
- Festival and event pieces, from Navaratri celebrations to Ramleela productions.
- Mythological and devotional dances, bringing legends like Maa Kali and Shiv-Parvati to life.
- Semi-classical and fusion dance routines for festivals or competitions. Sometimes we go full classical, sometimes it's Carnatic fusion or even trending tracks like 'Arabic Kuthu'.
When We Shine
Watching my students win at national and international competitions (Delhi, Banaras, Pune) - that’s what makes me proud. Nothing beats moments like our first place win at the folklore festival in Delhi or seeing a student score 74/75 for her college entry.
The Way We Work
We start every session with a prayer. Practice sessions mix discipline and fun - warm-ups, technique, and lots of storytelling. I adapt choreography to suit your age, skill, and the vibe of your event. You’ll get everything from Bharatnatyam choreography for competitions to guidance for your Arangetram (solo debut).
Tradition Meets Today
My base is Bharatanatyam, but I love experimenting. Whether you want pure classical, a blend, or something custom for your school function, I make sure your dance feels authentic and memorable.
Let’s create something that feels like your story.

My Story
Started dancing Bharatanatyam at six - Mandya was home, stage was life. Life paused the dance for studies, work, marriage, motherhood. But dance, ya, it never left. After 15-25 years, I came back to perform in Mandya - felt like I was finally home again. Learnt from amazing gurus, did my Master's, now run Nritya Gurukul in Noida with my dancer daughter and husband. Passing on this art fills me up, just like my gurus did for me.
My Work
Bharatanatyam & Dance Classes - We teach Bharatanatyam from basics to advanced, including Arangetram preparation, and semi-classical dance choreography.
Guru-Shishya Parampara - Classes follow tradition - spiritual journey, not just steps. Ghungroo Puja (Gejje Puje) is our way to seek blessings.
Classes for All Ages - From tiny tots to ladies batch, everyone joins. Practice is key, but masti (fun) is always there too.
Student Achievements - Our students win competitions, perform at festivals, and even get college admissions through dance. Proud moments!
