Learning Aiki Jujutsu with Sensei Ramesh Rao
I am Ramesh Rao. For 30 years, I have walked the path of Aiki Jujutsu. Here, I share the philosophy and discipline I bring to my training sessions in Bengaluru.
This is me in my element, wearing the traditional gi. This is more than a uniform; it is a symbol of my lifelong commitment to the art of Aiki Jujutsu.
A few quiet moments of reflection. My journey is one of continuous learning, and I bring that spirit of growth to every class I teach.
A moment of thought. My teaching is not just about physical moves, but about sharing the wisdom I have gained over 30 years of practice.
A short message during my early morning workout. I teach traditional Aiki Jujutsu and I love to share my knowledge with anyone willing to learn.
From quiet contemplation to dynamic action. This is the balance we seek in martial arts, to be calm in thought but ready for movement.
Thinking about the next class and the progress of my students. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing them grow in skill and confidence.
About this collection
Before you commit, I always start with an intro session. It is the only way to see if my teaching method, which focuses on body mechanics and calming the mind rather than brute force, is the right fit for your goals. Whether you are in Koramangala or joining online from elsewhere, let us see if we can walk this path together.
My teaching is not about fighting; it is about ensuring you do not have to fight. After 30 years on this path, I have learned that the true strength of a martial artist lies in posture, breathing, and psychological conditioning—not just broken boards or shouting.
I treat my classes as a 'gift' of knowledge. 2021 broke me, 22 changed me, and 23 opened my eyes. My 2024 comeback is about sharing this Aiki Jujutsu wisdom with those who are actually ready to put in the work. Tumhare sharir se zyada zaroori kuch nahi hai yaar. Nothing is more important than your body.
My curriculum focuses on:
- Panic Management: Real-world conditioning to keep your mind clear during a sudden confrontation.
- Body Mechanics: How to move naturally and efficiently, applicable to anyone from 12 to 70.
- Hybrid Training: If you join online, you must have a partner to practice with for safety. If you join me at my dojos in Malleswaram or Koramangala, we focus on hands-on correction.
I do not run a generic gym. I run a school for those who want to be better than the person they were yesterday. If you are waiting for the 'perfect time,' you will be waiting for the rest of your life. Start now.
