At AES, we don't just teach from textbooks. Our students lead their own inquiry—from probability carnivals to courage museums—turning classroom concepts into real-world experiences.

Our annual High School University Fair brings over 60 universities from around the world to our campus. This event gives students and families a chance to connect with admissions representatives and explore their future academic paths.

Our Grade 7 students hosted a Probability Carnival for younger grades. They designed and built their own games based on theoretical probability and compound events, making math learning fun and interactive for everyone.

The Grade 3 Courage Museum showcased student explorations of courage in big and small ways. Through biographies and interviews, students created inspiring exhibits, reminding us that even the smallest voices can tell the biggest stories.

About Learning in Action: Student Showcases

You won't find our students just memorizing formulas for a test. For instance, our Grade 7 math class spends weeks designing and building games based on probability, then hosts a carnival for the younger grades to play. It turns abstract math into a hands-on event where the students own the process from design to delivery, building both confidence and critical thinking.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

At AES, we believe the best learning happens when students are creators rather than just consumers of information. Our 'Learning in Action' approach is integrated across all grade levels, from Pre-K to Grade 12.

Key Projects & Initiatives:

  • The Courage Museum (Grade 3): Students research biographies and conduct interviews to create exhibits that explore what it means to be courageous in everyday life. This connects reading, writing, and social studies in a deeply personal way.
  • The Probability Carnival (Grade 7): As mentioned, our middle schoolers take math concepts and apply them to game design, teaching their peers and learning the practical application of statistics.
  • Upcycling Mela (Grade 6): A deep dive into the circular economy where students build products from reused materials, simulating a real-world market to understand waste reduction.
  • University Fair: Our High School program brings over 60 universities to campus annually, allowing students to bridge the gap between their current studies and future goals.

Why This Matters for Your Child

This method of inquiry-based learning isn't just about fun projects. It builds the 'student agency' that defines the AES experience. When a student builds a model of a traditional Indian house or curates a museum, they are developing critical thinking, project management, and public speaking skills. They learn how to fail, iterate, and succeed.

Our campus in Chanakyapuri is designed to facilitate this. Whether it is our makerspaces or our flexible learning commons, the physical environment supports these interactive moments. Our teachers come from all over the world, bringing diverse perspectives that enrich every project, ensuring that our students aren't just learning subjects; they are learning how to be thinkers, creators, and contributors in a global community.
