About Student Life & Extracurricular Activities
Student Life: More Than Academics
I see student life as the real heartbeat of our school. With students from over 70 countries, there's always something happening - nobody feels left out. Here, it's not just about studying; it's about finding your own squad, getting loud for your team, and figuring out what matters to you.
School Spirit & Traditions
The vibe hits you as soon as you walk in. Our Tiger mascot is always up for a high-five, and pep rallies during events like India Independence Day get everyone hyped. We celebrate big moments from crossing ceremonies to the Senior Walkthrough. Middle Schoolers join 'forts' (Neela, Peela, Laal, Hara) for friendly rivalry and crazy Spirit Week dress-up days. This school spirit and traditions make it easy to feel part of things, even if you're new.
Arts & Creativity
I’m big on letting students try new stuff. Theatre isn’t just for drama kids - anyone can join, even if you’ve never been on stage. Our student creativity workshops include band, jazz club, pottery, comic creation, and visiting pros who share real tips (sometimes it’s messy, but that’s half the fun).
Athletics & Clubs
Being a Tiger means you play hard and cheer harder. Our teams travel for competitions, so you get the real deal experience. Each year starts with our activities mela (extracurricular club fair) - robotics, debate, honor societies, you name it. Everyone can find their niche, even if it takes a couple tries.
Service & Impact
‘Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve’ isn’t just a motto. Our student service learning projects mean you get out in the community, teach, create, and actually make a difference. Sometimes it’s challenging, but that’s what makes it worth it. Here, you’ll find your purpose - and maybe help someone else find theirs too.

My Story
Hi, we’re AES – just call us that, everyone does. Been here in Delhi for 73 years, you know? Folks from 70+ countries, all under one roof. Tim started his family here, learned Vipassana, and Karen’s back after ages – that’s our vibe, lifelong bonds. We’re not just about marks; you’ll find us grooving in Bollywood dance sessions, hanging out in student forts – Neela, Peela, Laal, Hara – or at the big activities mela (fair). Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
