Our campus in Chanakyapuri is a lively mix of 70+ nationalities. From Arts in the Atrium to Spirit Week, we celebrate diversity through events that build real, lasting connections.

The "Arts in the Atrium" series is a joyful way to bring our community together. Here, students, staff, and parents learn Bollywood dance, celebrating movement, music, and the vibrant culture of India.

Our community came together to celebrate Indian Independence Day with a colorful assembly. The student-led performances of music and dance highlighted India's rich history and reflected the values of unity and resilience we share at AES.

Our Middle School "Fort Reveal" kicks off the year with friendly competition. New students are sorted into one of four forts, Neela, Peela, Laal, or Hara, for a year of community-building activities and spirited fun.

Middle School Spirit Week is all about building community by being silly together. With creative themes like pajama day, animal day, and socks with sandals, we see everyone's enthusiasm and camaraderie shine.

About A Vibrant, Global Community

You won’t just see students studying here. We build our community in specific, sometimes silly ways, like our Middle School 'Forts' (Neela, Peela, Laal, and Hara). New students are sorted into these mixed-grade groups at the start of the year, creating instant camaraderie through friendly competitions, spirit days, and shared events that break down social barriers immediately.

Our community isn't just a list of countries, it’s a living, breathing network. When you join AES, you aren't just signing up for a curriculum, you're joining a family that spans seven decades of history in Chanakyapuri. We take belonging seriously, which is why our Parent School Association (PSA) is so active. They are often the first friends our new families make, offering 'New to Delhi' workshops that cover the practical realities of life here, from navigating local markets to driver management.

Events like our 'Arts in the Atrium' series and Spirit Week aren't just for show. They serve a real purpose: lowering the walls between students, teachers, and parents. Whether it’s learning Bollywood dance moves together or dressing up for a theme day, these moments foster the culture of belonging we strive for. It’s a place where a child arriving from Tokyo or London finds their place as quickly as someone moving from across town. Every ceremony, from 'Crossing the Bridge' for Grade 5 students to our senior send-off dinners, is designed to ensure that when you leave, you remain part of the AES alumni network for life.
