About K-12 Academic Education
Who We Are
I’m part of a community that’s been welcoming families from all over for decades. At our school, you’ll find kids from more than 70 countries, each bringing something unique. We care about every child feeling like they belong, are seen, and have somewhere to grow.
How We Approach Learning
- We’re big on holistic student development. Sure, academics matter, but sports, the arts, and giving back mean a lot here too.
- Student-led learning projects are at the heart of our classrooms - kids get to ask questions, experiment, and steer their own journey.
- Our multilingual learning environment helps students see the world through different eyes. Curiosity and empathy? We think those are just as important as grades.
The Journey: Pre-K to Grade 12
- Elementary: Curiosity takes the lead, whether it’s a KG kid researching animals or a third grader running a Courage Museum.
- Middle School: Everyone joins a fort - Neela, Peela, Laal, Hara. It’s all about teamwork, fun contests, and trying new stuff. You’ll see kids selling upcycled goods at the Mela (fair) or designing their own games.
- High School: The IB Diploma Program is here if you want a challenge. We push for deep thinking in TOK, and help you plan your next steps with a big university fair.
Beyond Classrooms
- Our Activities Mela brings together clubs, sports, and service groups. From music concerts to drama shows, there’s always something going on.
- Service clubs like MAD get out in the community, teaching and volunteering.
Family Partnership
- We want families involved. Events like Back to School Night and workshops help everyone stay connected and informed.
We keep things real - sometimes it’s messy, sometimes amazing, but it’s always about growing together.

My Story
Hi, we’re AES – just call us that, everyone does. Been here in Delhi for 73 years, you know? Folks from 70+ countries, all under one roof. Tim started his family here, learned Vipassana, and Karen’s back after ages – that’s our vibe, lifelong bonds. We’re not just about marks; you’ll find us grooving in Bollywood dance sessions, hanging out in student forts – Neela, Peela, Laal, Hara – or at the big activities mela (fair). Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
