Our Philosophy: Technique First
At Abhibhava, we are strict about technique. I have often said that if a wrong habit enters the body, it is incredibly difficult to remove later. That is why we emphasize hands-on corrections for every student, from tiny tots to adults. We ensure your geometric lines are sharp and your footwork is precise, whether you are learning Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or Mohiniyattam.
What We Offer
We run structured batches for all levels, focusing on:
- Bharatanatyam: Rooted in the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya syllabus, covering practical Adavus and theoretical Shlokas.
- Kathak & Mohiniyattam: Dedicated sessions focusing on rhythm, storytelling, and the unique expressions of each style.
- Mayurbhanj Chhau: High-energy workshops on martial dance forms, agility, and combat stances.
- Kids Foundation: A playful, disciplined space where we introduce motor skills, culture, and Namaskriya in a way that makes learning fun.
From Studio to Stage
We do not just teach; we perform. I believe dance is a performing art meant to be shared. That is why we push our students to move beyond the classroom and take the stage. We host regular productions and encourage participation in national festivals. Seeing our students win awards and gain confidence on stage is why we do what we do—bas dil khush ho jaata hai (my heart feels happy).
