Commercial and Set Design
I create commercial spaces and temporary sets that do more than just provide a backdrop. Whether it is for a cafe, a creative studio, or a brand product shoot, my design work is meant to tell a story and set a mood the moment you step in.
This is a Rajasthani-themed set I designed for a home decor brand. The goal was to create a cozy, festive atmosphere using traditional textiles, carved wooden elements, and warm fairy lights to showcase their products beautifully.
A different set design for a decor brand, this one with a more modern and moody feel. The deep blue wall with gold trim provides a rich backdrop for the plush bedding and textiles, creating a sense of sophisticated comfort.
About this collection
When I design a temporary set, I treat it with the same rigor as a permanent building. It is not just a background for products. I focus on lighting, texture, and flow because I know that a few well placed props and the right wall finish can make a decor piece or a piece of furniture look much more valuable to your customers.
My approach to commercial and set design is rooted in the same philosophy I use for residential projects. Whether it is a temporary setup for a brand shoot or a permanent interior for a cafe, the space must evoke a feeling. For set designs, I look at how the materials interact with the camera and the product. A Rajasthani theme might require the warmth of traditional textiles and soft lights, while a moody, modern set needs deep blues and gold trim to feel sophisticated.
In permanent commercial projects like cafes or studios, I apply my design and build process to ensure the construction is sound and the finish is high quality. I get involved in everything from the initial structural plan to the final paint texture. This allows me to experiment with raw materials like stone and lime wash, giving your business a distinct, grounded identity. My goal is to ensure your visitors feel the atmosphere the moment they walk through the door, creating a memorable brand environment through thoughtful architecture rather than just surface-level decoration.
