Designing Beyond Trends

Many children's rooms are designed to be temporary, filled with plastic furniture that is replaced every few years. My approach is different. I view the children's bedroom or nursery as a sanctuary that should reflect the same commitment to craftsmanship found in a library or drawing room. By utilizing high-quality materials like solid Sal wood, custom joinery, and non-toxic PU finishes, I ensure that these rooms are as durable as they are beautiful.

Form Meeting Function

A truly great kids' room balances the need for imaginative play with the reality of daily function. For instance, in one of my recent projects, I incorporated a library and study area into the bedroom layout. This allows the space to evolve—starting as a whimsical nursery with a hand-painted mural and a classic crib, and easily transitioning into a functional bedroom for a growing child by adjusting only the furniture and decor, rather than the core architecture.
