About Sound Healing & Meditation
You will lie on your mat in a dimly lit studio while the resonant vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls wash over you. It is an immersive experience designed to switch off your busy mind, making it the perfect way to decompress after a long week of work or high-intensity training.
What happens in a session?
You lie in a comfortable position for the entire 45 to 60-minute duration. The session is built on acoustic immersion. We use a set of Tibetan singing bowls and mallets to create sound vibrations that promote deep relaxation. The studio is kept dim with aromatic scents to help you withdraw from sensory overload. It is a space designed strictly for mental clarity and stress reduction.
Do I need prior experience?
Not at all. Whether you have never meditated or practice regularly, these sessions are open to everyone. You do not need to be a dancer or a fitness enthusiast to join. The only requirement is a willingness to lie still and listen.
How should I prepare?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to breathe deeply. Please bring your own yoga mat. If you prefer extra cushioning or a blanket, feel free to bring that along. Since these are drop-in workshops, we recommend checking our schedule for specific dates and times, as we do not run these daily.
Why Seshadripuram?
We host these sessions at our Seshadripuram studio because it is a central, familiar space for our community. After a long week of work or intense functional training, having a dedicated time to quiet the mind is a necessary practice. We keep our groups small to ensure the environment remains calm and uninterrupted.
