This fault-line cake was designed for an engagement party. It features a soft pistachio green top section over an off-white base, with the "break" highlighted by a delicate gold leaf edge. The design is completed with an "Engaged" topper and fresh white flowers.

About Elegant & Floral Creations
You will notice that all the flowers I use are fresh, carefully sanitized, and individually taped for food safety. I prefer using Italian Meringue Buttercream instead of fondant because it stays light and does not get overly sweet, which is a game-changer for long wedding ceremonies.
Why I love this style
There is something timeless about pairing soft, pastel-toned buttercream with real, fresh blooms. Whether it is roses, lilies, or baby’s breath, fresh flowers add a texture and scent that fondant just cannot replicate. It creates a cake that feels alive and perfectly suited for a romantic celebration.
The Buttercream Difference
I work almost exclusively with Italian Meringue Buttercream (IMBC). It is my secret weapon. Unlike the heavy fondant you see on mass-produced cakes, IMBC is silky, smooth, and much lighter on the palate. It is perfect for the weather in Bengaluru because it sets well but stays creamy and delicious.
My Process
- Floral Prep: Every flower that touches your cake is sourced fresh, washed, and food-safe taped. I do not just stick stems into the sponge.
- Structural Integrity: If you are planning a tiered wedding cake, I use food-safe dowels and central support to make sure it stands perfectly for your venue.
- Custom Details: From gold leaf edges to hand-piped textures, I treat every cake like an art piece.
Ordering Tips
If you are looking for a tiered wedding cake, I require a minimum of 3kg to ensure the internal structure is stable. For smaller events, we can do gorgeous single-tier designs with custom acrylic toppers. Just let me know your theme or colour palette, and I will match the buttercream shades to your decor.
