Meet the Montessori-Trained Educators at Chimes
Our teachers act as guides, not lecturers. They observe, support, and foster independence in every child throughout their learning journey.
We believe in a strong partnership between home and school. Our orientation sessions and regular meetings ensure parents are an integral part of their child's learning journey.

Our teachers are guides, not lecturers. You will find us on the floor, at the child's level, observing and offering support when needed. This respectful partnership ensures that every child feels seen, heard, and valued as an individual on their unique learning path.

About this collection
Our educators are not standing at the front of the room delivering lessons to the group. Instead, you will find them on the floor at your child's eye level, observing their specific pace and interests. This 1:12 teacher-to-child ratio allows us to offer genuine, individualized attention, ensuring your child is never rushed and always supported as they explore their own unique potential.
The Role of a Montessori Guide
At Chimes, our teachers are trained in the Montessori method to be observers first and guides second. They do not lecture. They do not force a specific curriculum on a child before they are ready. By maintaining a low teacher-to-student ratio of roughly 1:10 to 1:12, our IMC and AMI-trained educators can tailor the classroom experience to meet each child exactly where they are developmentally.
Why Our Approach Matters
We believe that a child's early years set the foundation for how they view the world. That is why our team focuses on:
- Individualized Pacing: Each child follows their own work cycle, allowing them to master skills like math or language when their curiosity is highest.
- Emotional Intelligence: Beyond academics, our guides teach children how to resolve conflicts, express themselves, and move through the day with respect for others.
- Continuous Development: Our team engages in regular professional development, from deep-dive workshops on child psychology to collaborative team-building, ensuring they are always equipped with the latest insights in early childhood education.
A Partnership with Parents
Your child’s growth is a collaborative effort. Our teachers prioritize clear, consistent communication with families in Basavanagudi. Whether it is during orientation sessions or regular parent-teacher meetings, we ensure you are an active part of your child’s day, keeping you informed about their milestones, friendships, and the discoveries they make in the classroom.
Chimes Montessori
We choose our team not just for their credentials, but for their patience and warmth. Every guide here is trained to respect your child’s rhythm, making school feel like a natural extension of home where they feel safe to learn.
