Yoga and Healing: My Guiding Philosophy
I don't teach just to burn calories. My practice is built on the four pillars of Satya, Tap, Daya, and Daan, helping you find alignment in both body and mind.
My practice is deeply rooted in the spiritual heritage of yoga, captured here in Rishikesh, the world's yoga capital. This connection to the source inspires my teaching and healing work. I believe that true wellness comes from aligning the body, mind, and spirit, a principle I bring to every session.
This video reflects the core values that guide my life and my work: Satya (truth), Tap (austerity), Daya (compassion), and Daan (charity). These four pillars of dharma are the foundation of a balanced and meaningful life, and I integrate this philosophy into every healing session to support your holistic journey.
About My Guiding Philosophy
When you start a session with me, we don't jump into intense routines immediately. I first look at your current physical state and lifestyle patterns. Whether you come to me for injury recovery or to deepen your yoga practice, we focus on stilling the mind's fluctuations—what we call citta vritti nirodhah—so you can actually feel the difference in your body rather than just performing movements.
My work is rooted in four principles that I believe are essential for anyone living in a demanding city like Delhi or Gurgaon.
The Four Pillars
- Satya (Truth): In my practice, this means being honest about your current limitations. If you are struggling with a back injury or stiff joints, we don't force a pose. We start where you are.
- Tap (Austerity/Discipline): This is the consistency. Transformation doesn't happen in one day. My goal is to help you build a sustainable routine that you can stick to, even on busy days.
- Daya (Compassion): My sessions are trauma-informed and gentle. Having worked as a physio for professional athletes, I know the difference between 'good pain' and 'injury pain'. You will never be pushed past a safe limit.
- Daan (Charity): This is about giving back. My practice is designed to be accessible, sharing knowledge so you can maintain your health independently.
How This Applies to You
Whether you are dealing with chronic pain from a desk job or recovering from a sports injury, the philosophy remains the same. I don't just 'teach a pose' or 'give a massage'. We identify the root cause—physical or mental—and work to resolve it. I bring all necessary equipment to your home across Delhi NCR, ensuring that your healing environment is as comfortable as possible. We talk, we assess your sharir (body) and mann (mind), and then we begin the work of healing.
