Our founders, Shivani and Vivek, are siblings who turned their shared love of music into the best music academy. Their passion and dedication are the foundation of our community.

At 88, we do not just teach instrument technique; we mentor. Whether it is Vivek helping a student find their focus before a sound check or Shivani encouraging a toddler in our introduction program, our focus is always on the person behind the instrument. We treat our students like family because, in our studio, that is exactly what you become.
Our Approach to Mentorship
We think music education often feels too rigid. That is why our teaching team, led by siblings Shivani and Vivek, prioritizes the 'Joie de Vivre'—the joy of living. You will see us joking around, having fun with our 'action figure' branding, and laughing during rehearsals, but do not mistake that for a lack of discipline. We are serious about performance.
Preparing for the Big Stage
Our teachers have walked the path they are asking students to follow. We do not just teach within the four walls of our Tardeo studio; we prepare you for the real world of music. Our mentors guide students through every step of our annual productions, ensuring they have the technical ability and the emotional resilience to perform at venues like the NCPA.

Every teacher you meet here, from our vocal coaches to our percussion experts, is chosen because they love what they do. We are a mix of personalities, but we share a singular goal: helping you find your unique sound. We welcome students from 7 months to 75 years old, and our mentors are trained to adapt their teaching style to your specific age and goals. Come in for a session and you will quickly see that our 'chaos' is actually a highly focused creative process designed to build your confidence.
