At Hum & Strum, we do not just lecture. Every instructor you see here is an active performer. Whether it is Swapnil on the piano or Sourav with his violin, our teachers bring real stage experience into every lesson. You will find them jamming in our Music Room Sessions, breaking down complex tracks, and showing you exactly how a professional handles an instrument. When you learn here, you are learning from someone who is currently playing, not just reading from a book.

Learning music should not feel like a chore. That is why we handpicked our faculty not just for their technical skills, but for their ability to make music feel accessible and fun. Our instructors are experts in their fields, from Western and Carnatic vocals to drums, violin, and keyboard.

Many of our mentors are active gigging musicians around Bangalore. They bring the energy of a live gig right into our Whitefield studio. If you are prepping for Trinity or Rockschool London exams, our teachers will guide you through the syllabus, but they will also show you how to improvise, add your own flair, and perform with confidence.

Our faculty leads the Music Room Sessions, our in-house jam nights where nerves are replaced by laughter and learning. They are there to help you fix your posture on the violin, master limb independence on the drums, or just find the right groove on your guitar. We believe in the 'Perform to Learn' approach. You will see our teachers playing alongside students, sharing tips that only come from years of stage experience. Whether you are a complete beginner holding a guitar for the first time or an intermediate student preparing for an exam, our team is here to walk that path with you.
