This is what it's all about. At 12 years old, one of our students goes from learning the cajon to commanding a full drum kit on the NCPA stage. We focus on building not just skill, but the confidence to perform in front of hundreds.

The journey of a musician is a shared one. We are so grateful to hear from our community of parents who see the growth in their children, from developing confidence and overcoming shyness to finding a lifelong passion.
We started this academy to share the magic we felt as kids discovering music. Here, our co-founder Vivek shares the story behind our annual 'Joie de Vivre' recital at the NCPA, a platform for our students aged 3 to 16 to shine.
Our 'Introduction to Music' class is where the youngest musicians begin their journey. Through play, song, and hands on experience with instruments like the djembe and guitar, we help toddlers develop rhythm, coordination, and a love for sound.
This is what progress looks like. From practicing the djembe at home in 2020 to mastering the full drum kit on the NCPA stage, this student's journey shows the power of dedication and consistent learning within our percussion program.

At 88 - The Piano Academy, we have moved beyond the traditional rigid music school format. We have created a space that balances technical discipline with the raw energy of performance. Our curriculum is grounded in Trinity College London and ABRSM standards for instruments like piano, drums, and guitar, but we layer this with a heavy focus on stage presence and personal expression.
This is not a factory-style academy. We support students ranging from 7 months to 75 years old, and every learner gets a tailored approach. For our younger students, we use play-based learning—think drum circles and musical storytelling—to build rhythm and coordination. For our teens and adults, we dive into vocal coaching, Western pop and Bollywood repertoire, and serious instrumental technique.
The goal is always the same: to get you stage-ready. We are perhaps best known for our annual recitals at the NCPA, where our students perform with professional-grade gear. It is a massive milestone that helps turn nerves into excitement and lessons into real-world confidence.
