Kho-Kho is more than a game for us, it is our heartbeat. At Young Stars Sports Academy, we welcome players of all ages to train, sweat, and grow together at NTI Ground.

About The YSSA Family
Every evening at 4:30 PM, our NTI Ground turns into a space for serious Kho-Kho development, where we mix standard pole-diving techniques with rigorous stamina training. Whether you are prepping for tournament selections or learning the basics of chasing, our sessions are built around consistent attendance and learning from each other on the dirt court.
Training at YSSA
At YSSA, we focus on the raw, authentic elements of Kho-Kho. Our training sessions are designed for real-world gameplay, meaning we prioritize agility and tactical awareness over fancy, unnecessary setups. We run 5 to 6 sessions every week, ensuring that every player gets enough time on the ground to build true stamina.
What You Will Learn
Our curriculum is divided into core areas that every Kho-Kho player needs to master:
- Chasing Tactics: We drill pole diving, timing, and chain-breaking strategies until they become muscle memory.
- Defense Tactics: We work on single and double chain formations and ring game strategies to keep you safe on the court.
- Conditioning: You will be running on sand tracks, doing plyometric jumps, and using agility hurdles. Kho-Kho is a sport of speed, and we ensure you have the lung capacity to chase until the end.
Preparing for Competition
We don't just train for fun; we train to compete. Our academy provides a clear pathway for talented players to reach the YSSA Competitive Squad. We guide our athletes through the selection process for Taluk and State-level tournaments. Seeing one of our own, like Gani, make it to the Sub-Junior Nationals is proof that if you have the passion, we have the coaching to take you there.
Who Should Join?
If you are hungry for the sport, you belong here. We run batches for both boys and girls, focusing on creating a supportive, mixed environment where beginners and experienced players share the court.
