About Partner & Assisted Stretching
Many students struggle to reach their full range of motion on their own. In these sessions, we use gentle partner-based resistance and instructor-led hands-on adjustments to help you get into a deeper, safer stretch. It allows you to correct your alignment instantly and see progress without the frustration of guessing your form.
Our studio in Anand Vihar is built for community, where health is the priority. When we talk about partner and assisted stretching, it is about moving past your physical limits with support.
Why we focus on assisted stretching When you stretch alone, your body naturally puts up barriers to protect your muscles. Having a partner or instructor apply a little extra pressure allows you to relax deeper into the pose. We use props like blocks and straps alongside hands-on help to ensure you are never forcing your body into a movement it is not ready for.
The partner dynamic It is not just about the stretch. It is about the fun and the bond you build with your fellow yogi. We see couples and friends join these sessions to hold each other accountable while laughing through the challenge. We keep it casual and encourage each other with a hearty 'Bahut acche' as we improve together.
What to expect in class
- Alignment Checks: We do not just demonstrate. We walk around to manually adjust your limbs so you stay safe.
- Prop Usage: We use blocks, walls, and bars for extra support.
- Pranayama: We end every session with breathing exercises to help you feel lighter and calmer.
