About Maternal Wellness Yoga
I found yoga at a time when doctors told me pregnancy wasn’t really possible for me. But I conceived naturally at 42, had an unmedicated pregnancy, and a strong recovery—all because my practice adapted to what I needed at every step. Now, I teach yoga the same way: not rigid, but supportive for wherever you are on your motherhood journey.
My Approach
- Yoga isn’t about folding yourself into someone else’s mold. I keep things real and practical, using props like chairs, bolsters, blocks, and walls so you always feel safe and comfortable.
- The focus is on supporting you, not pushing you. Whether you’re trying to conceive, expecting, or navigating postpartum, the practice fits your energy and your body, not the other way around.
What to Expect
- Prenatal: Classes ease back and pelvic pain, prep your body for labor, and help you connect with your baby. We use prenatal yoga for back pain relief and emotional support.
- Postpartum: I’ve been through C-section recovery myself, so I know it’s not easy. We go gentle—working on yoga for postpartum core recovery, managing aches from feeding and carrying, and calming those rollercoaster moods.
- Fertility: Yoga for fertility support is close to my heart. We focus on stress relief, hormonal balance, and gentle movement for motherhood, especially if you’re managing PCOS or feeling anxious about conception.
I teach mostly online, so you can join from anywhere. My classes are a mix of Iyengar alignment and real-life empathy—no pressure to “bounce back,” just space to move, heal, and feel a little more like yourself again.

My Story
There’s this old photo of me—before yoga, before 'Beyond Asanas', before I really knew myself. I lost weight, wrote my book, and built my yoga life from scratch. Motherhood changed me, didn’t erase me. Nights out with friends remind me I’m still me, just deeper. My yoga shifted too—no going back, just moving forward. I’m more intuitive now, stronger in new ways. My handstands are better, my dharma is clearer: be real, be kind.
