Ballet Classes for Kids in Saket
A journey from the studio to the stage. See how we combine ballet technique with yoga for flexibility and confidence.
Hearing from my students is the greatest reward. This video captures their honest thoughts about our classes, from the silly cues I use like "put your chapatis" to how we work on flexibility and prepare for shows. It shows the kind, funny, and encouraging atmosphere I strive to create in every children's ballet class.
The magic of seeing my students shine on stage. This was a beautiful performance where these young dancers, dressed in their bright yellow costumes, showcased all the hard work and discipline they learned in class. It’s moments like these that build confidence for a lifetime.
A quiet moment of connection amidst the energy of a stage performance. For me, teaching ballet is about building trust and sharing the joy of dance, one-on-one. This image captures the supportive bond I share with my young students.
Here I explain my unique approach to teaching, which combines ballet with my background as an advanced yoga instructor. I believe this blend is key for young dancers, as it helps build core strength, improve balance, and prevent injuries, making them more versatile and confident movers.
My personal practice is the foundation of my teaching. This moment of a standing split shows the dedication and technical skill I've developed over years of training. I bring this same focus on discipline and body awareness to my students, helping them understand what their bodies are capable of.
A happy hug backstage after a wonderful performance. These are the moments that matter most. It’s not just about learning steps, it’s about creating a dance family where every child feels celebrated and supported on their journey.
The pure energy and joy of a live performance. This was from a dynamic Spanish-style ballet piece. I love sharing the excitement and expressive power of dance with my students, inspiring them to find their own freedom in movement.
About Featured
My ballet classes for children aren't about rigid perfection; they’re about movement, flexibility, and confidence. By blending traditional ballet technique with my background as an advanced yoga teacher, we work on core strength and injury prevention from the start. We keep the atmosphere light, using silly cues to master technique so your child actually enjoys the process of learning.
I focus on 'progress, not perfection' in every session. Classes are split into groups for kindergarteners and older children, ensuring that the pace matches their age. I bring my experience from years of professional training and yoga practice into every class to ensure your child builds strong foundations.
Why Yoga and Ballet?
Integrating yoga techniques helps students with balance, core stability, and injury prevention—crucial for young, growing bodies. We don't just learn steps; we work on building strength, flexibility, and an understanding of how the body moves.
Our Facility
We train at IFBC Studios in Saket, which provides a professional sprung dance floor. This is essential for protecting joints during jumps and landings. The environment is air-conditioned and designed for focus, with full-length mirrors that help students learn self-correction in a safe, non-judgmental way.
What to Expect
Classes run on Wednesdays and Fridays. I believe in explaining rather than scolding, so you can expect discipline delivered with patience and kindness. We prepare kids for stage performances where they can shine in costume, but the real win is the confidence they build week by week. Whether it is learning their first positions at the barre or mastering a new jump, every small milestone is celebrated.
