Authentic Clinical Yoga Therapy and Mindful Healing
Yoga is not a fitness regimen, nor a quick cure. It is a profound, structured path to wholeness. Here, we use clinical techniques to reset your nervous system and restore your inner balance.
I often see people turn to yoga as a last resort for acute illness, but that's a misunderstanding of its power. In this video, I explain the true collaboration between medicine and yoga. While medicine treats the illness, yoga restores wholeness by resetting the nervous system, balancing hormones, and working through the five koshas, or layers of our being. Healing is not just recovery; it is an awakening.
This image lists common signs of trauma that many people experience without realizing their origin. If you feel numb, disconnected from your body, or unsafe even when you know you are safe, you are not alone. My practice is a safe space to gently guide your body back to a state of security and peace.
Perimenopause, or रजो निवृत्ति, is a profound feminine truth, not a decline. In this video, I demonstrate movements to support this transition, reframing it as a time for renewal and connection to inner wisdom. Through practices like asana, pranayama, and dhyana, we can navigate the physical and psychological shifts, allowing our inner goddess to shine.
Yoga is not something you gather; it is a state you arrive at through stillness. This sequence shows a progression from a forward fold into a headstand and finally into a seated meditation. It illustrates the journey from physical effort to the quiet space where the practice truly finds you.
You may have heard that yoga is not enough and that you need to add cardio or strength training. I believe if you feel yoga is not enough, you may be in the wrong class. In this video, I explain how a complete yogic path, including Karma, Jnana, and Bhakti yoga, is more than enough because it helps you realize that you are enough.
This message from a student is a powerful reminder of why I teach. Healing is a long journey, and finding a guide you resonate with can make all the difference. This student shares her experience of finding confidence and awareness after years of stress, showing that peace is possible even when situations do not change.
We often point to our forehead when we speak of fate, but our future is not written there. In this video, I explain how our karma is stored in the lower three chakras, which govern our most basic desires. By bringing moderation to these areas, we balance our energy, gain clarity, and become the architects of our own destiny.
A good night's sleep is essential for our well being, and this simple, passive backbend can help you unwind before bed. As shown here, this pose helps decompress the spine, relieve tension in the neck and jaw, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. It is a small act of self care that can lead to deep rest.
About Featured
When you land here, you might be looking for a relief from chronic back pain or stress, but real healing requires a deeper look. I begin every 1-on-1 session with a detailed clinical assessment of your specific medical history, posture, and emotional state. This ensures we are not simply stretching, but creating a tailored practice that actually balances your nervous system and addresses the root cause of your discomfort.
Healing Beyond the Mat
Modern wellness often treats yoga like a pharmacy, asking which pose cures which ailment. My approach, rooted in the Yogayush method, is different. We work through the koshas, or the layers of your being, using clinical breathwork (pranayama) and movement to move past symptoms and into systemic change.
Clinical 1-on-1 Therapy
This is my core offering for those dealing with chronic issues like PCOS, hormonal imbalances, or long-standing spinal discomfort.
- Assessment: We start by understanding your unique history, not just your pain.
- Customization: You receive a sequence modified with props to ensure safety and efficacy for your body's current state.
- Integration: Sessions conclude with a 15-minute nervous system reset, using Yoga Nidra to anchor the work we do.
Therapeutic Modalities
Whether you join my small group sessions or a private intensive, our work is defined by three pillars:
- Somatic Release: Gentle movements designed to unblock stored trauma in the hips and shoulders.
- Clinical Breathwork: Specific ratios of inhalation and exhalation intended to balance your cortisol levels and improve sleep quality.
- Philosophical Anchoring: We integrate the Yoga Sutras into the practice, providing you with a mental framework to handle the stressors that caused the physical tension in the first place.
This is not a space for competitive fitness. It is a space for those who are ready to stop seeking peace in the external world and start building the capacity to remain whole, regardless of the circumstances.
