Explore Your Yoga Flow in JP Nagar
Yoga isn't about being perfectly flexible or thin—it is about building strength, balance, and having fun along the way. Whether you want to try the playfulness of aerial hammocks or ground yourself in a steady Hatha practice, let's find the movement that makes you feel alive.
Aerial Yoga is a fantastic way to build upper body and core strength while exploring inversions in a supported way. This video captures the joy and teamwork in one of my classes, from partner stretches to receiving my first certification to teach. It's a practice of trust, strength, and grace.
Squats are fundamental for building lower body strength and core stability. This short tutorial breaks down a squat flow, moving from Sukhasana (Easy Pose) to Malasana (Garland Pose) and other variations. It's a great example of how I break down movements to make them accessible and effective.
About this collection
If you are new to aerial yoga, don't worry about needing core strength to start—we build that right on the hammock. My classes focus on alignment first, so whether you are in a Hatha flow or hanging upside down, you will learn how to move safely without straining your joints.
Finding Your Style
Whether you are looking for the grounding discipline of Hatha or the playful challenge of Aerial, my studio in JP Nagar is built around one thing: making yoga feel real. I have found that sticking to one type of movement can sometimes limit your progress. That is why we rotate through different flows.
Hatha and Aerial: The Mix
Hatha yoga is our foundation—it is where we focus on proper alignment, using blocks, straps, and wall ropes to make sure you are getting the most out of every asana without risking injury. It is slower, more intentional, and perfect for understanding the 'why' behind the pose.
Then, there is the Aerial yoga side of things. If you have ever wanted to hang upside down and decompress your spine, this is for you. It is not just about the photos; it is about using the hammock to build deep core strength that you can actually feel the next day.
My Teaching Philosophy
I do not teach from a script. I teach to the people in the room. If someone has a tight lower back, we adjust. If someone is working on their first inversion, we take it step-by-step. My goal is to make sure you walk out of the studio feeling better than when you walked in, regardless of your current fitness level. If you are curious about where to start, drop me a message and we can chat about which batch fits your goals.
Prajna Karkera
I’m Prajna, and I believe movement is medicine—whether that means finding balance in Hatha or getting a bit silly in an aerial hammock. I keep my classes small and hands-on so you get the personal attention you need to grow at your own pace.
