Tennis Strength & Conditioning Coaching in Dwarka
Tennis is as much about your legs and core as it is about your racket skills. We build the explosive speed and endurance you need to dominate the court.
Our training goes beyond the court. Here, our players are doing road running and bodyweight exercises like squats to build cardiovascular endurance and lower body strength.
We push our limits. This image celebrates the incredible plank records set by our trainees Nihal and Gurjot, showcasing their exceptional core strength and mental toughness.
A glimpse into our International Yoga Day session. We incorporate yoga to improve flexibility, balance, and mental focus, which are crucial for recovery and high-level performance.
This video shows a player performing bear crawls, a full-body exercise that builds core stability, shoulder strength, and coordination. This is part of our comprehensive conditioning program.
A fun but challenging fitness game to end a training session. These drills improve agility and endurance while keeping the competitive spirit high.
About Strength & Conditioning
We don't just lift weights here. Our sessions combine resistance band drills for explosive lateral movement with tennis-specific footwork patterns that ensure you reach every corner of the court. Whether you are recovering from an injury or building speed for tournaments, the goal is always better court coverage, not just raw muscle.
Why Tennis Fitness is Different
Tennis is a game of short, high-intensity bursts. You don't need marathon runner endurance; you need explosive acceleration and the ability to decelerate safely. At Xtreme Tennis Academy, we move away from generic gym routines to focus on what actually happens during a match.
Our Training Method
- Agility & Movement: We use cones, ladders, and resistance bands to improve your lateral speed. If you cannot get to the ball fast enough, your technique won't matter.
- Core Stability: We emphasize core strength to support your serve and groundstrokes. You will see us doing planks and medicine ball throws to build the rotational power needed to generate pace.
- Recovery & Yoga: We know the sport is demanding. We integrate yoga and stretching to keep you flexible, ensuring you recover faster between matches and prevent injuries.
The 'No Stopping' Rule
We live by the rule: Mehnat kar paseena baha (Work hard, sweat it out). If you show up, you give your all. Our training is designed to build mental toughness alongside physical capacity. Whether you are training on our synthetic hard courts or clay, the drills are meant to mimic the pressure of a real match. You will learn how to push through fatigue, keep your focus on your target, and execute your shots when your body is tired. This is how champions are made.
