Stop chasing quick T20 boundaries. Real cricketers know how to hold their shape, pick the right balls, and build an innings that lasts.

To hit the ball from the middle of the bat, your body position is everything. I explain how bending your body correctly allows you to get on top of the ball and play a proper shot.

Boundaries are good, but singles and doubles build an innings. I teach the importance of running between the wickets and how proper calling between partners can turn a good score into a great one.

Power is important, but it must be controlled. Here is a batsman executing a powerful six during a net session, showing the result of a stable base and clean swing.

An open net session in progress. This is where batsmen face different types of bowlers to sharpen their reflexes and shot selection under pressure.

About Building a Batsman's Innings

If you stand too upright, you are hitting the ball with the bottom of the bat. This is a common flaw I see during net sessions. At our Noida academy, we fix this by training you to bend your body properly so the ball meets the middle of the bat every single time. It is not just about power. We use slow-motion video analysis to pinpoint your backlift and head position, ensuring your technique is solid before you even think about playing a big shot.
