Single Storytelling & Craft Workshop
Core Session Format
- Duration: Strictly 60 minutes.
- Story Circle (30 mins): Floor seating on foam mats with interactive narration and puppets.
- Activity (30 mins): Thematic DIY craft related to the story.
- Education: Introduction of 3 new vocabulary words per session.
Supplies & Setup
- Materials: Standard grade stationery (chart paper, scissors, glue, crayons) provided.
- Environment: Screen free analog setting in an enclosed residential retail space.
- Takeaway: Child takes home the created craft item.
3 Month Development Course (12 Sessions)
Course Structure
- Schedule: 1 session per week for 12 weeks.
- Duration: 60 to 75 minutes per class.
- Batch Size: Capped cohort (approx. 10 to 12 kids) for personalized attention.
Progression & Features
- Curriculum: Month 1 (Listening/Vocab), Month 2 (Expression), Month 3 (Stage Confidence).
- Feedback: Periodic informal progress updates to parents.

Festival Performance Workshop
Training Phase
- Duration: 6 to 8 rehearsal sessions including line learning and blocking.
- Casting: Roles allocated based on age and ability (dialogue vs non dialogue roles).
- Instruction: Scripts adapted for children and basic voice projection coaching.
The Showcase
- Costumes: Provision of rental/shared character attire and props.
- Production: Basic stage setup with backdrop and sound system.
- Output: Final live performance for family members and shared digital group photos.

Stories That Spark Imagination
At Wondershop, I love seeing kids light up when a story pulls them in. My programs are all about kids jumping into the world of performing arts, away from screens, using their own voices, hands, and laughter.
What I Offer
- Story & Drama Clubs (5+ yrs): Dive into Indian mythology storytelling for kids. Ramayana, Mahabharata, Natkhat Krishna - kids don’t just listen, they act, play, and often end with a musical Ram-Leela for family.
- Interactive Storytelling (3-6 yrs): For the little ones, it’s expressive voices, puppets, and art activities that make each story come alive. I keep these groups small, so every kid gets a chance to shine.
- Special Experiences:
- Shadow puppetry workshops like Chitrakathi, run by Padma Shri artists. After the show, kids try their hands at making their own puppets.
- Little Stars Open Mic: Any kid from 3-18 can hop up and show what they love - singing, jokes, dance... sab kuch chalega (anything goes).

My Story
We’re Wondershop and honestly, we just wanted to make a space where everyone could breathe easy and have fun, especially parents and their kids. This all started when we saw a little girl, Ria, light up making her own soft toy - that joy is what keeps us going. Not just for kids, though! We love mixing old stories, art, and music - like that Chitrakathi art from Maharashtra. For us, it’s about bringing people together, making memories, and sharing a bit of wonder.
