You have mastered the basics, but now you are looking for that deeper nuance—the improvisation in a raga or the precise rhythm of a complex tillana. We host three-day intensive workshops led by guest maestros such as Dr. Baby Sreeram and Dr. Sriram Parasuram. These are not lectures but direct deep-dives into manodharma and rare compositions, available both in-person at our Basavanagudi and Malleshwaram centers or via online sessions.

The goal of these masterclasses is to take you beyond the standard syllabus and into the world of creative interpretation. Whether it is a deep-dive into the compositions of 19th-century legends like Papanasam Sivan or exploring the emotional range of devotional forms like Bhajans, Abhangs, and Tillanas, our workshops focus on the 'how' and 'why' of the performance.

We provide notations in English to ensure you do not spend the session just scribbling. We also allow audio recording, so you can revisit the intricate laya exercises or the subtle nuances of an alapana when you practice at home. These sessions are perfect for intermediate and advanced students who are ready to refine their stage presence and understand the deeper mechanics of melody and rhythm.

Because these are intensive workshops, we keep group sizes manageable to ensure you get actual feedback on your technique. Certificates of participation are issued to acknowledge the hard work you put into these advanced studies.
