We view transitional spaces as pivotal architectural opportunities rather than mere connectors. From monolithic sculptural stairs to light-filled corridors, we design these elements to define the rhythm of your home.

This staircase in the Mango Orchard House is designed as a bold, black, folded-metal sculpture. It creates a powerful visual statement against the light-colored walls, with a large window at the base framing a view of the garden.

A different angle of the sculptural staircase, emphasizing its sharp, geometric form. The space beneath is adorned with traditional brass pots, creating a dialogue between modern architecture and cultural artifacts.

The dog-legged staircase in the House of Terraces is clad entirely in rich Burma teak, serving as a warm, central spine connecting all floors of the villa. The play of sunlight on the wood highlights its natural grain and beauty.

Another view of the stunning teak staircase, showing how it anchors the space. The warm wood tones are complemented by the earthy, textured finish of the walls and unique, artistic light fixtures.

This image showcases the elegant combination of wood and light in the Maximum City Residence staircase. A recessed niche lined with wood creates a focal point for a decorative object, turning the stairwell into a curated space.

Looking down the stairwell, the brass railings and curved wooden wall create a dynamic composition of lines and forms. A modern pendant light hangs in the void, adding another layer of sculptural interest.

The vertical brass spindles of the railing create a rhythmic pattern, contrasting beautifully with the warm horizontal lines of the teak steps. This detail exemplifies our dedication to refined craftsmanship.

This passageway in the House of Terraces features rich wood-paneled walls and dramatic pendant lighting. We use corridors as opportunities to create atmosphere and showcase art, making every part of the home feel considered.

The entrance porch of the House of Terraces makes a strong first impression with its striking coffered wooden ceiling. This architectural detail immediately sets a tone of sophisticated craftsmanship for the rest of the home.

To bring light into landlocked areas of the Limestone Residence, we used fluted glass doors and discreet ceiling hatches. This practical design solution ensures that even interior passages feel bright and airy.

About Sculptural Staircases & Passageways

We believe transitional spaces should never feel like wasted square footage. In our designs, we often integrate concealed storage or functional niches into the staircase structure itself, ensuring that even a circulation path contributes to the quiet, uncluttered aesthetic of your residence.
