About Behind the Scenes
Before I ever touch a cone to your skin, I map everything out on paper. I sketch your specific requests—whether it’s a couple portrait, a skyline, or family initials—to make sure the scale and placement are perfect. This ensures no surprises on your wedding day, just the design we agreed on.
From Sketch to Skin
Many of my clients ask how I achieve such clean lines and complex compositions. It starts long before the wedding day. By working out the details on paper first, I can adjust proportions to fit your hand shape and ensure that intricate elements like elephant motifs or jharokha details are balanced perfectly. This planning phase is crucial for the bridal portraits I create, as it allows us to finalize the storytelling elements of your design.
Quality Matters
Good mehndi is about more than just the pattern. The richness of the final color depends entirely on the paste quality. I use only 100% natural henna powder, filtering it for a smooth, stringy consistency that flows without clogging. I avoid chemicals entirely. When you see the deep maroon stain in my gallery, that is the result of using quality, essential oil-infused henna paste.
Customization for Every Bride
Whether you want a traditional look with thick, dense coverage or something more contemporary, my design process adapts to you. I do not use stock templates. If you have a theme or a specific element you want included, we can sketch it out together. This way, your mehndi is not just a decoration; it becomes a personal piece of art that reflects your journey.
