Aerial Yoga Classes: Defy Gravity and Find Your Flow
Ready to take your practice off the mat? Our aerial yoga sessions in Sector 39, Noida, use silk hammocks to help you decompress your spine, build core strength, and find a little bit of magic in the air.
The full split, suspended in the air. This pose, known as Samakonasana in the hammock, is a testament to the flexibility and strength you can build with a consistent aerial practice. Our instructors guide you safely into deep stretches like this.
This is what we call flying. The Superman pose in aerial yoga is a powerful core and back strengthener that makes you feel truly weightless. It's a favorite in our classes for building strength and having fun.
A beautiful sequence showing the flow of aerial yoga. From a tucked inversion to the graceful extension of the body, each movement is connected by breath. This is a great example of the dynamic strength and control you develop.
Inversions are a key part of our aerial practice. Hanging upside down like this helps to decompress the spine, improve circulation, and bring a healthy rush of blood to the brain, leaving you feeling refreshed and energized.
Finding a moment of self-love and gratitude, even when upside down. This heart-shape gesture is a reminder that yoga is a practice of connecting with yourself. This inverted pose also helps to open up the shoulders and chest.
Taking fitness to new heights. This video shows a beautiful transition into an aerial split, demonstrating how the hammock supports you to achieve deeper stretches than you might on the mat. The Hindi text reads: "Aerial Yoga: Taking fitness to new heights."
Lost in the sky, found in myself. This video captures the pure joy and freedom of an aerial yoga flow, moving from an inversion to a flying pose. It's a full-body workout that feels more like play than exercise.
Posing with a smile because finding your balance in the air is a joyful achievement. This seated aerial pose works on core stability and leg strength, all while you feel like you're floating on a swing.
We ensure everyone gets the attention they need. Here, one of our instructors helps a student with their form in an inverted cocoon pose, a deeply restorative posture that allows the spine to lengthen and release tension.
Safety and support are our top priorities. An instructor is shown spotting a student in an inversion, making sure she feels secure as she explores the pose. This hands-on approach helps build confidence quickly.
About Aerial Yoga: Defy Gravity, Find Your Flow
Getting into the hammock can feel intimidating, but our instructors are always there for hands-on spotting. We keep batch sizes small, so when you are hanging upside down or learning a new inversion, you always have someone right beside you to guide your form and ensure you feel secure.
Aerial yoga is more than a trend. It is a functional way to build strength without overloading your joints. By using the hammock, we take your body weight off your spine, which is fantastic for anyone dealing with desk-job aches. Whether you are aiming for a full split or just want to hang out in a supported cocoon pose to calm your nervous system, the silk provides a safety net that lets you push deeper into stretches than on the floor.
At our Sector 39 studio, we run sessions on soft, artificial green turf, which gives you excellent grip for your mat-based movements before you transition to the air. You do not need to be a gymnast to start. We break down every transition, from basic seated poses to more dynamic flips. If you are worried about dizziness or safety, know that our instructors oversee every inversion, ensuring you feel secure before letting go. It is effectively a full-body workout that feels more like play than a gym session.
We incorporate 10-15 minutes of Pranayama and breathwork in every class to ensure that even while you are flying, you are staying grounded. It is this balance of active strength and quiet stillness that defines the Vivid Vibes approach.
