About Behind the Seams: My Process & Boutique
When you visit my boutique, you aren't just dropping off fabric for stitching. We sit down together to discuss the occasion, the neckline, and the silhouette that works for your specific body type. I personally take every measurement, ensuring that whether you choose a simple daily kurti or a complex bridal blouse, the final fit feels like it was made exactly for you.
I believe that clothing is personal. My boutique in CBD Belapur is a space where we value the craft behind every garment. You will often find me here with fabrics like Modal Ajrakh or authentic handblock prints from Bagru, explaining how these textiles behave and how they should be cut to look their best.
The Process at Viva Boutique
When you come in, we look at the fabric together. If you are bringing your own material, I check its drape and texture first. If you are choosing from my collection, we pick something that matches your skin tone and the event. I personally draft the paper patterns and oversee the sewing, which includes details like hidden pockets in your suits, adjustable dori for blouses, and sturdy hooks that do not rust.
Why Good Stitching Takes Time
I cannot promise super fast turnarounds because I refuse to rush the fit. From the initial consultation to the mandatory trial session, I want to make sure the garment hugs you in all the right places and offers comfort. My goal is to make sure you walk out smiling. Whether it is a custom saree blouse, a three-piece suit, or a festive lehenga, the focus is always on creating something that you will actually reach for in your closet again and again.
Viva Boutique
I believe ethnic wear should celebrate every body type without judgment. At my boutique, I ensure every woman feels comfortable and confident, whether she is visiting for a simple blouse or a custom bridal lehenga.
