About Wedding & Festive Lehengas
When I stitch a lehenga, I take over 30 body measurements to ensure the waist-to-hip ratio is flawless. Whether you need a heavy flare for the main ceremony or a lighter, tiered skirt for the Haldi, I build the structure with canvas and Can-Can net so the silhouette stays exactly how we designed it. It will not droop, ensuring you have comfortable, confident movement all day long.
Finding a lehenga that fits your body shape as well as it fits the occasion is often the hardest part of wedding shopping. At my boutique in CBD Belapur, we skip the standard sizes. Instead, we work together to construct an outfit that matches your specific vision.
The Custom Process
We start by discussing the event. A Mehendi outfit needs to be breathable and easy to move in, while a bridal lehenga requires heavy structural support to hold embroidery like Zardozi or Gota Patti. I use high-quality linings like soft cotton or Santoon so the heavy work does not irritate your skin while you celebrate.
Designing Your Silhouette
Whether you want a traditional Kalidar style, a modern box-pleated look, or a flowing Indo-Western gown, I adjust the pattern accordingly. We pay close attention to the hemline, using canvas support so the flare holds its shape in photos. If you are bringing your own fabric, I will help you assess if it works for the silhouette you want. If you need something from my collection, we can browse through silks and cottons to find the right base.
Practical Details
Every custom lehenga and ghagra choli comes with a side zipper or back hooks, plus an adjustable dori at the waist for those slight shifts that happen during long events. Because I personally oversee the tailors and the embroidery team, you get a clear view of the work as it progresses. My goal is to ensure you feel like yourself, just more festive.
Viva Boutique
I am here to make sure your outfit does not just look good in photos but feels comfortable while you are dancing at your Mehendi. I take the measurements myself and personally check every seam because I know this is not just fabric—it is your special day.
