About Custom Embroidered Blouses

When you come to me for a blouse, we don't just talk about patterns; we talk about how you want to feel in the outfit. I personally take over 30 measurements to ensure the fit is precise, whether you prefer a traditional 4-dart cut or a modern Princess cut with padding. I believe a well-structured blouse is the foundation of every saree, so I include a mandatory trial session where we check the drape and make any necessary adjustments before the final stitch.

My process is all about making the garment feel like it was made just for you, not off-the-rack. Whether you are pairing a blouse with a family heirloom Paithani or a new designer silk saree, I work with you to get the embroidery and fit exactly right.

I offer a range of embroidery techniques including Zardozi (gold wire), Aari (chain stitch), hand-tacked Mirror work, and delicate threadwork. If you have a specific vision, like deer motifs on the sleeves or complex geometric patterns for a navy blue blouse, we can design it together. For heavier work, I ensure the fabric is properly supported with canvas or fusing material so the embroidery weight doesn't pull the neckline down.

I handle the full construction:

  • Consultation & Pattern: We define your neckline, from Boat and V-neck to Sweetheart styles, using a custom paper pattern based on your specific measurements.
  • Quality Finishing: I use rust-free hooks, YKK invisible side zippers, and quality lining like 2x2 Rubia Cotton or Butter Crepe.
  • The Details: Every piece is finished with handmade fabric tassels, piping, and interlocking on all raw edges to prevent fraying.

If you have a special occasion coming up, please plan ahead. Hand-embroidered pieces take about 10 to 15 days to complete because I do not rush the handwork. I am based in CBD Belapur and welcome you to visit the store to browse my collection or bring your own fabric for custom stitching.
