Garba is more than steps to me; it is a way to express pure joy. Here is a glimpse into my solo projects where I blend traditional folk roots with modern rhythm and storytelling.

A solo performance to the phenomenal song "Khalasi" from Coke Studio Bharat. The lyrics speak of finding the pearl within your own soul, and I tried to capture that journey of self-discovery through my movements.

Dancing to my favorite part of the song "Lahu Munh Lag Gaya." This solo piece, shot on a beautifully lit stage, focuses on the sharp, powerful, and expressive movements that make this song a Garba classic.

This choreography for "Manda Lidha Mohi Raj" was a celebration in itself. It’s a solo piece that showcases the intricate footwork, graceful spins, and joyful energy that I teach in my advanced workshops.

A solo performance dedicated to Ambe Maa. This piece is set to "Dakla 2" and is filled with the raw, powerful, and spiritual energy that defines the Dakla form of Garba.

My solo performance to "Moti Veraana," a song of faith and excitement for welcoming Ambe Ma. This choreography, performed in a traditional kediya, is my prayer for Navratri to happen, filled with hope and devotion.

A moment of pure devotion and joy captured during my performance of "Moti Veraana." This traditional attire and expressive pose reflect the deep cultural roots and celebratory spirit of Garba.

This choreography is a mashup of two of my favorite songs, "Ranchhod Rangila" and "Mathura Ma Vaagi Morli." It's a solo piece that weaves together different energies and styles, showing the creative possibilities within Garba.

About Solo Showcases & Creative Fusions

These routines are my way of experimenting with rhythm and finding the soul in every beat. Whether it is the raw energy of a Dakla performance or a fusion of classic tracks, I focus on how the body flows with the music, not just hitting the beats perfectly. My solo videos show the range of expression possible within folk dance, which is the exact same energy I bring to my technique intensives and regular classes.

Finding the Story in Every Step

When I dance, I am not just executing movements, I am trying to tell a story. You will see this in my solo work—from the spiritual intensity of a Dakla 2 performance dedicated to Ambe Maa to the joyful, contemporary energy of a fusion mashup. I believe you must have a little bit of chaos inside to give birth to a dancing star, and that is what I try to capture.

Why Fusion Matters

I love diving deep into traditional gaamthi (village-style) Garba, but I also enjoy looking at our folk roots through a new lens. By mixing Kathak influences, hip-hop elements, or contemporary flow into traditional Garba, I make the dance more accessible and exciting. This isn't about breaking tradition; it is about keeping it alive for the next generation.

What You Will Learn in My Sessions

If you enjoyed the videos here, you can learn these exact styles. My workshops focus on:

  • Technical Mechanics: How to master those complex spins, barrels (palti), and jumps without feeling dizzy.
  • Authentic Footwork: Breaking down Vrundavan and Prachin Ahmedabad steps so you can dance for hours without fatigue.
  • Expression & Vibe: Moving past the technical to feel the music, ensuring there is koi awkwardness nai (no awkwardness, really) when you hit the dance floor.

Whether you are looking for a weekend pop-up session in Andheri or a deep-dive technical intensive, I keep the vibe friendly and welcoming. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to let go and celebrate the music.
