About Navratri Garba Specials
You don't need years of training to look great on the dance floor during Navratri. I focus on breaking down traditional Garba steps and Bollywood fusion moves so they feel natural for your body type and skill level, ensuring you feel confident whether you are dancing solo or as part of a large group.
My approach to Garba is simple. I want you to enjoy the music as much as the steps. We start by selecting tracks that match your energy. Some students want fast-paced, high-intensity routines for stage performances, while others prefer something graceful and traditional that they can sustain for hours during a Garba night.
We can work together at my studio in Jagriti Vihar, Meerut, or I can help you remotely if you are elsewhere in the Delhi NCR region. For online choreography, I provide step-by-step video tutorials with front and back views so you can practice on your own schedule. If you are doing a group performance, I focus on spacing and synchronization so your team looks polished and energetic, not messy.
Dance is about expression, which we call Abhinaya. Even in high-energy folk dances, I teach you how to use your eyes and posture to tell a story. If you are feeling nervous about your first performance, just know that most of my students walk in as complete beginners. We start every session with a positive mindset, ready to learn and have fun.
