Authentic Garba Workshops & Classes in Mumbai
Garba isn't just a dance for me; it is pure, unfiltered joy. Come learn the authentic rhythm, master those spins, and let's get the Navratri energy high together.
The energy in our "Sarkari" Garba session with Vrundavan in Mumbai was just incredible. Look at everyone moving together, smiling, and completely lost in the music. This is the community vibe I love to create.
This is the kind of energy you can expect at my workshops. Here I am leading a class through the "Ranchhod Rangila x Mathura Ma Vagi Morli" choreography, with everyone cheering and dancing their hearts out.
You don't need a concert to get concert vibes. This is our Hudo 2.0 class in Mumbai, where the energy was so high it felt like we were at a live show with Aditya Gadhvi. This is what happens when great music and passionate dancers come together.
The energy was through the roof at this workshop on "Lahu Munh Lag Gaya". It's amazing to see so many talented dancers come together and absolutely slay the choreography. This is what makes teaching so rewarding.
This was our first-ever workshop with the power duo Vrundavan and myself, and the energy was pure fire. You can see the fun and connection as we dance to "Albeli Matwali Maiyaa" in this packed class.
Here's a look at one of my Navratri special workshops, where we focus on both basic to advanced steps and finish with a Garba Night practice session. It's all about building confidence and having a great time before the festival.
A glimpse into the fun we had at The TopKnok last month. The room was filled with smiles, twirls, and amazing energy. These workshops are the perfect place to learn new choreography and practice for Navratri.
Garba mode is always on. This clip from my "Lahu Munh Lag Gaya" workshop shows the power and excitement of this iconic song. The students' energy in the background is what fuels the entire session.
I love the energy everyone brings to the workshops. This was a fantastic collaboration with Heet and Khushi, and you can see the joy on everyone's faces as we dance together. It's all about community and celebration.
A solo showcase moment during Vrundavan's Garba Evening, but the real star is the audience. Their cheers and love for the choreography made the performance unforgettable. This is the supportive atmosphere we build in every class.
About Our Workshop Energy
I keep my workshop batches intentionally sized so I can actually walk around the floor to fix your footing. You will not be stuck in the back watching from a distance; I will be right there with you, correcting your spin spotting and barrel mechanics while we dance through the routine.
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your technique for the festival, my goal is to strip away the awkwardness and get you moving with confidence. We do not just memorize choreography; we break down the mechanics of the dance so you understand the logic behind the steps.
What we focus on:
- Technique first: We cover essentials like barrel turns (palti), spotting techniques to prevent dizziness, and proper posture. You will learn why a specific movement works and how to execute it without hurting yourself.
- Authentic Styles: I dive deep into Vrundavan style, Prachin Ahmedabadi steps, and the raw, earthy feel of Gaamthi dance.
- Practical Prep: My weekend batches and intensives are designed for stamina building. We treat these classes like a real Garba night so you can handle three hours on the floor without losing your breath.
Classes are held at professional studios across Mumbai, including Andheri West and Ghatkopar, featuring air-conditioned spaces with mirrors so you can see your own progress. If you cannot make it in person, I also offer live virtual sessions where I modify the steps to fit smaller home spaces.
This is not about being a robot and hitting steps in order. It is about the community, the music, and the rush you get when everyone moves as one. If you want to stop counting steps and start feeling the rhythm, come join us.
