From Factory to Site: Our Modular Construction Process
I build, transport, and install your structure so you do not have to deal with months of traditional construction. Here is how your cabin moves from my factory floor to your site, ready to use.
Safe loading is a critical part of my process. Here, a 20 by 8 feet porta cabin is being carefully lifted by a crane onto a truck, ready for dispatch to a client site in Agra.
If you need a temporary home, office, or cabin for any commercial use, you should come to Vishay Porta. This video gives you a glimpse into my manufacturing plant where I build all types of porta cabins.
It was a great experience connecting with industry leaders and potential clients at the NTPC MSME vendor meet. Showcasing my work at such events helps me build trust and demonstrate the quality of my prefabricated solutions.
About From Factory to Site: Our Process
The most important part of my process is the site preparation. While I build the structure to be ready-to-move, you need to ensure your site has a leveled, solid surface for placement. We handle the crane and transport logistics, but the ground must be ready to take the weight of a steel structure so it stays perfectly stable from day one.
How We Build and Deliver
My process is designed to eliminate the usual construction headache. Instead of a mess of water, bricks, and cement, I use a systematic approach to get you a working space as fast as possible.
1. Fabrication in Noida
Everything happens in my factory. We cut and weld the GI structure according to the dimensions you pick. During this stage, we also handle the insulation (thermocol or glasswool) and fit the electricals—concealed wiring, MCB boxes, and fans. This means when it reaches you, it is literally plug-and-play.
2. Quality Checks
Before a cabin leaves the floor, I check for structural integrity and weatherproofing. Because these structures move, the welds have to be perfect. We double-check the panels and the seal on the sliding windows to ensure no leaks.
3. Transportation
Logistics is where most prefab companies fail, but I treat it as part of the product. Whether it is a 20-foot office or a small guard cabin, we coordinate the crane lift and the transport truck. For long-distance delivery outside NCR or Pune, we secure the unit to prevent any structural stress during the journey.
4. Final Installation
Once the truck reaches your site, the installation is usually completed in a few hours. We position the cabin, level it, and make the final connections to your power source or water line if applicable. If you are ordering a larger site office or school classroom, we assemble the modules on-site with precision, ensuring the joints are sealed and secure.
This is how I maintain the quality of a permanent structure with the flexibility of a movable one.
Vishay Porta
I am Akshay Rastogi, and I run Vishay Porta. I handle the whole cycle from welding the GI steel frame to the final crane lift at your site. I do not just build, I make sure the whole process is seamless so you can start working the moment the cabin lands.
