About Dhanurvidya: Spiritual Archery Retreats

I guide people through Dhanurvidya, not as a sport, but as a spiritual journey. This is about becoming a warrior in mind and body, where you don’t just shoot arrows - you learn to focus, breathe, and move with purpose. I’ve spent years digging into old texts and temple carvings to bring back the real Indian archery tradition, and now I share it in a Gurukulam setting.

What Happens at the Retreat

• You’ll live simply, wear traditional clothes, and join in Vedic ceremonies like Ayudha Puja.
• The camp is residential, either 3 or 5 days, set in Tirupati’s peaceful surroundings.
• We start early, practice authentic archery forms, and train with both static and moving targets.
• Yoga and meditation are part of the daily routine. It’s not just about hitting the mark, but sharpening your mind and body.
• I weave in stories and lessons from Ramayana and Mahabharat, so you get the spiritual warrior training that goes beyond technique.

Who Can Join

• Anyone over 10 years old, no matter your background or fitness level.
• Men, women, kids, seniors - I’ve had folks from 10 to 75 years old join us.
• If you want discipline, courage, and a taste of Vedic lifestyle camp, this is for you.

You’ll leave with more than archery skills - you’ll get a glimpse of what it means to walk the path of Dharma, and maybe find a bit of your own inner veerta (bravery) along the way.
