Knee and Joint Pain Rehabilitation in Delhi
Chronic knee pain does not have to be your constant companion. I use a blend of manual therapy, guided strengthening, and nutrition to help you get back on your feet.
Here I am using a combination of heat therapy and moxibustion, a traditional technique, to treat a knee with ligament damage and degenerative changes. This approach helps to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and accelerate the healing process.
A core part of my knee rehabilitation programs involves active strengthening. This exercise, where the client lifts their leg against weight, specifically targets the quadriceps muscles to create better stability and support for the knee joint.
About Knee & Joint Pain Treatments
Recovery is not about magic tricks. In my clinic, we start by understanding exactly what is causing your pain—whether it is a ligament injury or an arthritis flare-up—and then we build a plan you can realistically follow at home. You are not just here for a session; you are here to learn how to keep your joints healthy for the long term.
Understanding Your Knee Health
Many people come to me after trying endless quick fixes. I believe that true relief requires a methodical, science-backed approach. When you come into Veda for knee or joint pain, we do not just treat the symptom; we look at the mechanics of how you move.
My Treatment Process
We typically combine three pillars of care:
- Manual Mobilization: This is the hands-on work. For conditions like frozen joints or stiffness, I use techniques to manually increase your range of motion.
- Pain Management Modalities: Depending on your inflammation levels, I use electrotherapy like IFT or TENS and thermal therapy, such as infrared lamps, to stimulate blood flow and reduce discomfort.
- Active Strengthening: This is where the real recovery happens. We use resistance bands and specific weight-bearing exercises to rebuild the muscles around your knee, which provides the stability your joint is currently missing.
The Nutrition Connection
Because I am also a certified dietician, I look at your recovery differently. Inflammation is often tied to what you eat. I provide basic dietary advice, such as how to use anti-inflammatory ingredients like turmeric, to support your physical therapy goals from the inside out.
What To Expect
Your first visit involves a 30 to 40-minute evaluation. We will review any existing MRIs or X-rays, check your posture, and test your muscle strength. You will leave with a clear recovery roadmap. My goal is to teach you home-based physiotherapy routines so you are not dependent on clinic visits forever. If you are ready to commit, I am ready to guide you.
