Our wall accents don’t just fill space—they whisper stories. Hand-turned in Channapatna, these functional pieces bring a touch of whimsy and the warmth of tradition to your home.

This pair of Cow and Bull wall hooks is one of our oldest and most popular designs. They are quirky and fun wall accents while also being functional. Handcrafted in Channapatna, they are easy to assemble and fix on the wall.

Some things never go out of style, like a photograph in a frame. Our handcrafted photo frames have a little Kuruvi bird perched on top, guarding your memories with charm and cheer. They are a beautiful blend of nostalgia and craft.

Our Kuruvi photo frames are a charming way to display your memories in a digital era. The circular shape is a result of the lathe-based Channapatna technique, pushing us to create unique designs within the craft's limitations.

Clean, sleek, and minimal, our 'Slant' flower vases are a perfect gift for those who like a hint of nature on their desk or shelf. Handcrafted by our artisans from Channapatna, they feature our signature glossy natural dyes.

Birds have always been an inspiration for our designs. This video showcases our signature Kuruvi series, including the decorative keychain holder, paper roll holder, and paperweight note holder, all functional objects that remind you of simpler times.

The Jaminis are a heartfelt tribute to one of my all-time favourite artists, Jamini Roy. I wanted to reimagine our signature Kuruvis on a larger scale, and their graceful curves instantly reminded me of the expressive eyes in his art.

This one-of-a-kind 'Gubbi Tree' keychain holder adds glamour to your entrance foyer. Each of the three sparrows, or 'gubbis', can hold a keychain, adding a dash of functionality to this statement accent piece.

About this collection

When you pick up one of our circular frames or animal hooks, notice the finish. Since we turn our wood on a lathe, every piece starts with a strictly circular limitation. We do not try to force square shapes where they do not belong. Instead, we design around the round, finding the perfect curve for a bird or a bull head so that the grain and the shape sit in harmony.

Design, for us, is about finding the joy of just enough. When we look at a blank wall, we do not see a place to hang mass-produced plastic. We see a space for a conversation. Our wall accents are born from the 200-year-old lac-turnery tradition of Channapatna, using Aale Mara wood and non-toxic vegetable dyes that are applied while the wood spins.

Take our Kuruvi (sparrow) photo frames, for example. We wanted to create a home for your memories in a digital age. Because the lathe dictates symmetry, we had to rethink how to display a photo. The result is a circular frame that looks like a window, guarded by a little bird perched on top. It is functional art, not just decor.

We also have a soft spot for the absurd and the playful, which is why you will find wall hooks shaped like bulls, cows, and whimsical birds. These are not just functional items to hang your keys or coat; they are characters that add personality to your entrance foyer or study. Each piece, whether it is a Jamini Roy-inspired wooden bird or a simple hook, is finished with a high-gloss lacquer that we achieve using traditional methods, not chemical varnish. If you are ever near our homes in Indiranagar, Jayanagar, Gokulam, or Goa, walk in. Feel the weight of the wood, see the gloss, and find the piece that feels like it belongs on your wall.
