About Magical Fairy Gardens
The best part about these sessions isn't just the final product, but the messy, two-hour process of building it. Whether you are creating a beach scene with blue sand or a cozy forest nook, you will get my help with the technical stuff like soil layering and drainage, so you do not have to worry if you have never gardened before.
During our sessions in Doddakannelli, we strip away the intimidation of gardening. You will start with an 8 to 10-inch ceramic or terracotta bowl and learn the essential basics of soil layering. I walk you through the drainage needs for succulents, how to handle root pruning, and how to balance your composition using resin figurines, moss, and colored sand.
Some people want a beach vibe with blue sand and a lighthouse. Others prefer a cottage look with a tiny picket fence and mushrooms. The plants often include hardy succulents like Haworthia or Jade, which are forgiving if you are a beginner. You walk away with a living piece of art that you built from scratch. We provide all the tools, from tweezers to brushes, so you just show up ready to play with plants.
