About Create Your Own Green World
Our sessions focus on the tactile process of building and decorating. When you join us for a terrarium workshop, you learn to layer drainage, soil, and decorative stones before selecting your succulents. For planter painting, we provide animal-shaped pots and a variety of acrylic colors. You walk out with a finished piece that is entirely your own, and we provide a safe, protective box to transport your wet creations home.
Art is supposed to be messy, and that is where the real fun lies. At our Basavanagudi studio, we break down these green-themed workshops into two distinct experiences.
Terrarium Building
This is a meditative, hands-on activity. You aren't just putting plants in a jar; you are creating a self-contained ecosystem. We guide you through the importance of the base layer—using gravel and charcoal for proper drainage—so your plants actually thrive once you get them home. You choose from a variety of glass containers, lush succulents, and decorative elements like shells or tiny figures to customize your mini world.
Planter Painting
If you prefer painting over planting, this is your zone. We have a selection of terracotta planters, including popular animal shapes like giraffes, whales, and snails. This isn't about professional technique; it is about having fun with brushes and colors. It is a fantastic session for families, especially parents and kids looking to bond over a creative task.
What to Expect
Whether you are a solo adult looking to destress, a couple on a quirky date, or a family planning an afternoon outing, the vibe remains the same—relaxed and informal. We handle all the supplies, from the clay and paints to the succulents and tools. You just need to show up ready to get a little soil or paint on your hands. If you are a perfectionist, be warned that things might not turn out exactly as planned, but that is exactly where the charm of handmade art comes from.
