Here are all the details for our next Miniature Garden Workshop. You can choose between creating a whimsical Fairy Garden, a peaceful Zen Garden, or a structured Bonsai Garden. All materials are provided, so you just need to bring your creativity.
From lush hanging plants to intricate miniature gardens, our workshops cover a range of creative gardening projects. This video gives you a quick glimpse of the different things you can learn and create with us.
This is what pure joy looks like. Our miniature garden workshops are a perfect creative outlet for kids, letting them build their own tiny worlds and connect with nature. We guide them through every step, from scooping the soil to placing the final tiny duck.

These aren't sit-and-watch classes. For two hours at our Doddakannelli studio, you will be soil-layering, picking your succulents, and figuring out the design of your miniature world with my help. Wear something comfortable because we will get our hands messy, and that is exactly the point of leaving the screens behind for a few hours.
What to Expect
Whether you are a beginner or just looking to spend a quiet afternoon with plants, our sessions are designed to be therapeutic. You do not need any prior green thumb experience. I provide all the supplies, including the pots, specialized soil mixes, gravel, and the plants themselves. You simply show up, pick your theme, and build.
Choose Your Miniature World
We offer three distinct workshop formats:
- Fairy Garden: Perfect for adding a whimsical touch to your space. You will work with small succulents, a resin miniature cottage, and fun accessories like mushrooms or ducks.
- Zen Garden: A study in balance. We focus on negative space, river stones, and hardy succulents like Haworthia to create a calming, minimalist landscape.
- Bonsai Landscaping: Our most technical session. We style a 2-3 year old pre-bonsai tree in a traditional tray, covering the basics of root pruning and landscape composition.
How to Join
Since these are hands-on, guided workshops, we keep group sizes small to ensure everyone gets help with their specific design. Please DM me or call at least 2 days in advance so we can prepare your kit and reserve your spot. If the plants don't cooperate or your 'fairy' garden looks a bit wild, that is all part of the process. You will walk away with a living, breathing souvenir of your time at the center.
