You can create your own tranquil water feature with just a few simple items. In our workshops, we not only build gardens but also teach you simple DIY projects like this Zen fountain, using a terracotta bowl, a small pump, and water-loving plants like pothos and bamboo.

We keep our sessions small because working with soil, moss, and tiny figurines is a personal experience. You do not need any prior gardening knowledge to join us. We provide everything from the ceramic bowls and specialized succulent soil to the tools and decorative elements. All you need to bring is yourself and a readiness to get a little soil under your fingernails.
Our workshops are designed as a creative break from the fast pace of city life. When you visit our space in Doddakannelli, we walk you through the entire process, from understanding soil layering to the final aesthetic placement of your miniatures.
We offer three main styles:
- Fairy Gardens: These allow for total imagination. Use resin houses, colorful sand, and small succulents to build a story in your pot, whether it is a beach scene or a tiny home garden.
- Zen Gardens: This is about balance and minimalism. We focus on negative space, river stones, and hardy succulents alongside a Buddha statue to create a tranquil spot for your desk or home.
- Bonsai Landscaping: A more technical session where you learn to style a pre-bonsai tree in a traditional tray, complete with moss and rock accents.
It is okay if your plants do not look perfect or if your fairy garden ends up looking more like a dense jungle. That is part of the charm of working with living things. I am Shipra, and I traded my desk job for this plant-filled life with my husband and our dog, Bhau. We started these workshops because we wanted a space where people could slow down and make something real with their hands. It is not about making the perfect garden, but about the joy of getting your hands dirty and connecting with nature.
