About Living & Lounge Spaces
When we build your sofa or diwan, we focus on the anatomy of the piece. Our frames rely on traditional mortise and tenon joinery, which avoids the metal brackets that loosen over time. We pair this solid teak skeleton with high-density 40D foam and hand-woven rattan, so the furniture provides firm support and remains a staple in your living room for decades.
Our approach to living room furniture is rooted in the idea that a sofa is more than just a place to sit. It is a canvas for your stories. We call this 'Modern Indian' design—a style that respects the rich heritage of Kerala craftsmanship while ensuring the functionality fits the pace of your everyday life.
The Anatomy of Our Seating
Every piece in this collection, from our Gubbi sofa to the Ela diwan, begins with seasoned teak wood. We avoid engineered wood in our structural frames entirely. This ensures that when you choose a custom unit, you are getting a piece that will age with grace.
We love mixing textures. You will see natural rattan cane used on side panels and armrests, which adds breathability and a lighter visual profile to the solid wood. For comfort, we use 40D high-density foam wrapped in a soft Dacron layer. This prevents that 'sinking' feeling and keeps the silhouette of the sofa sharp and well-defined.
Your Vision, Our Hands
Because we handle the design and production in-house at our Koramangala studio, we are not limited by rigid catalogues. If you see a piece like our Tarangini sofa but need it to fit a specific nook or want to swap the fabric for a hand-block print that matches your curtains, we can do that.
We also enjoy collaborating with architects. If you are already working with someone on your home interiors, we are happy to share technical drawings and ensure the teak stain or brass inlay details match the rest of your space. We sketch, refine, and keep you in the loop until the design feels like it belongs in your home.
