A lot of people ask me if the flowers on my cakes are real—and yes, they definitely are. I personally sanitize every single bloom, stem, and leaf before they touch your frosting. It’s an extra, slightly tedious step, but it’s the only way I can guarantee your cake is as safe to eat as it is beautiful to look at.
I believe a cake should be a balance of art and comfort. When I work on floral or palette knife designs, I’m thinking about how the colors of the flowers will pop against the textures I’ve piped. Whether it's a soft, romantic look for a roka ceremony or a vibrant birthday piece, I don’t use shortcuts. Everything starts from scratch in my kitchen, without any premixes. Because I’m a home baker, I have full control over the quality. I’m picky about the eggless sponge base, making sure it stays moist even with all the heavy frosting and decoration. If you have a specific color theme or a vibe in mind, tell me. I love using gold leaf, edible pearls, and fresh, seasonal flowers to make it personal. Just keep in mind that since I’m doing this all by hand, I can only take a limited number of orders. If you have a date fixed, let’s chat sooner rather than later.
