Whether you are struggling to maintain balance on the beam or need a better swing on the parallel bars, we break these down into bite-sized drills. You will be on the floor, vault, bars, or rings under the watchful eye of our national-level coaches who know exactly when to spot you and when to let you find your own stability.

Gymnastics is more than just flexibility; it is about controlled power. At Tots N Teens Gym, we use FIG-certified equipment to ensure that when our students train, they are using the same standards found in professional competitions.

Apparatus Focus

  • Pommel Horse & Rings: We start with fundamental grip strength and swing mechanics. It is common for students to find the rings challenging, but we use dedicated conditioning blocks to build shoulder stability first.
  • Parallel & Uneven Bars: Precision is key here. Our coaches focus on the rhythm of the swing, which prevents momentum from becoming dangerous.
  • Vaulting: We break down the approach, the hurdle, and the landing. It is less about just flipping and more about the kinetic chain that creates a clean vault.

Why It Matters

Strength training at our Kudlu Gate and Electronic City centers is integrated into every session. We dedicate 30 to 40 minutes per class to conditioning. This might involve resistance work or specific drills on the apparatus that build the functional strength required for more advanced skills like saltos or release moves.

Safety & Progression

You will see our coaches providing spotting for everything from handstand pirouettes to hip circles. Safety is non-negotiable. If you are preparing for district or national level competitions, our routines are built according to the Code of Points, simulating meet conditions so that when the day comes, you know exactly what to do.
