About Junior Players in Action
We don't just stand there and hit; you will be moving. Our juniors train on red clay, which naturally forces you to focus on your footwork and balance. Expect to hear us shouting 'Aage se!' or 'Body balance!' during practice, because fixing those small habits early is exactly what turns a beginner into a real player.
At TTA, we believe tennis is as much about fitness and discipline as it is about the forehand. Our junior program in JP Nagar is designed to keep kids active and engaged, moving them away from distractions and onto the clay.
The TTA Way for Juniors
- Red Clay Advantage: We train on red clay courts. It is forgiving on joints but demanding on movement, which helps develop the sliding and recovery footwork you just cannot learn on hard courts.
- Drill-Heavy Sessions: Expect high-repetition basket feeding. We repeat techniques until they are muscle memory. If the form is wrong, we stop and fix it immediately.
- 1:8 Ratio: We keep our group sizes small. This ensures every student gets enough hitting time and individual feedback from the coaches.
What You Need to Bring
We provide the age-appropriate balls and training aids, but we expect students to show up with the basics: a tennis racquet, non-marking shoes, and water. Tennis is a physical game, and we push our kids to build endurance and mental toughness alongside their groundstrokes.
Whether your child has never held a racquet or is looking to sharpen their skills for AITA tournaments, the focus remains the same: hard work, quick feet, and a great attitude. Come join the team.
